When people ask AI, make sure it names you.

More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI Overviews for recommendations instead of scrolling results. Those systems name businesses they can identify confidently and see confirmed elsewhere. We build that confidence, and track where you are and aren't being cited.

What AI search optimisation involves

  • Entity clarity

Consistent facts about who you are, what you do and where, across your site, schema and profiles.

  • Third-party validation

Mentions, reviews and coverage on sources AI systems already trust.

  • Quotable content

Clear, well-structured answers that AI systems can lift and cite accurately.

  • Structured data

Organization, service and person schema with sameAs links that connect your entity across the web.

  • Citation tracking

Monitoring which prompts mention you, which name competitors, and how that changes.

  • Knowledge graph work

Strengthening your presence in the sources that feed knowledge panels and AI answers.

How AI decides who to recommend

AI assistants don't have a ranking list. They build an answer from what they know about entities (businesses, people, places) and from sources they retrieve. They recommend businesses they can identify unambiguously and see validated by others.

So the work is the same foundation that drives modern SEO, pushed further: a clear entity, consistent facts everywhere, independent confirmation, and content that answers questions directly.

SEO and AI search are one job

You don't need a separate AI agency. The signals that help you rank in Google (clear on-page information, credible links and mentions, clean technical delivery, strong topical coverage) are the same signals AI systems rely on.

On-page declares
Your site states clearly who you are and what you do.
Off-page validates
Other trusted sources confirm it.
Technical exposes
Machines can read and parse it easily.
Relational positions
You're connected to the right topics, places and people.

What changes, and what doesn't

The foundations are shared, but the goal shifts. Classic SEO earns a click on a ranked link. AI search earns a mention or a citation inside an answer the user may never click past.

Evidence over trends

A lot of "GEO" advice is repackaged SEO, and some of it does nothing. Google says its AI features draw on its core Search ranking and quality systems, and that no special file or markup is needed to appear in them. So we put effort where the evidence is.

Answer first
Put the direct answer near the top of the page, then the detail and evidence.
Remove technical blockers
Pages that are slow, blocked or badly rendered are hard for any system to read or quote.
Be confirmed elsewhere
Independent mentions and reviews carry more weight than claims on your own site.
Skip the gimmicks
We don't sell llms.txt files or "AI schema" as a shortcut to citations.

What we measure

We track a set of real prompts your customers would use, across the main AI platforms, and report how often you're mentioned, whether you're cited as a source, how you're described, and which competitors appear instead. That turns a vague worry about AI into a number you can improve.

How it works

  1. Baseline

Test the prompts that matter and record who gets named.

  2. Entity audit

Check facts, schema and profiles for gaps and contradictions.

  3. Fix and structure

Consistent entity data and quotable, well-structured pages.

  4. Validate

Earn mentions and coverage on trusted third-party sources.

  5. Track

Monthly citation and mention reporting across platforms.

Questions we get asked

What is GEO?

Generative engine optimisation (GEO) means optimising to be cited and recommended by AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews. It builds on the same foundations as good SEO.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?

No one can. We can make your business far easier to identify and verify, and measure how often you're mentioned as that improves.

Does this replace traditional SEO?

No. It extends it. Most of the work helps both your Google rankings and your AI visibility at the same time.

Do we need an llms.txt file?

Not for Google. Google has said its AI Overviews and AI Mode don't need any special file or markup. If one is cheap to add we won't stop you, but we won't pretend it earns citations.

Why do AI answers mention competitors and not us?

Usually because the AI can describe them more confidently: clearer facts on their site, more independent mentions, or content that answers the question directly. Your baseline shows exactly which prompts you're missing and who appears instead.

How do you track AI mentions?

We run a fixed set of real customer prompts across the major AI platforms on a schedule, and report mentions, citations and the competitors named.
