An SEO audit that tells you what to fix first.
Not a 90-page automated export. A manual review of how Google, Maps and AI assistants understand your business, ending in a short list of fixes in priority order. It's yours to keep, whether or not you work with us.

AI answer
A useful audit checks technical health, on-page relevance, local signals and how consistently the business is described across the web, then ranks the fixes by impact. Automated scores alone rarely say what to do first.Four lenses, one reportOn-page · off-page · technical · relational
What the audit checks
Technical health
Crawl and indexation, speed and Core Web Vitals, redirects, canonicals, structured data and security.
On-page relevance
Titles, headings, content depth, internal links and E-E-A-T signals, page by page, against what people actually search for.
Local signals
Google Business Profile, reviews, citations and NAP consistency, and where you rank across your area.
Authority and links
Your backlink profile, toxic links, and the gap between you and the competitors outranking you.
Entity consistency
Whether search engines can resolve who you are: schema, knowledge graph and consistent facts across platforms.
AI answer visibility
Whether ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews mention you for your core services, and who they mention instead.
Why a manual audit
Automated tools are good at counting problems and bad at telling you which ones matter. A site can score 95 and still not rank, or score 60 and be one fix away from page one.
We use crawlers and data, then apply judgement: what is actually holding this site back, in this market, against these competitors. That is what turns an audit into a plan.
What tools flag, and what a person catches
Crawlers are the starting point, not the finished audit. Here is the difference a manual review makes.
| An automated tool flags | A manual review adds |
|---|---|
| Missing or duplicate title tags | Whether the page actually answers what the searcher wants |
| Hreflang errors on international sites | Untranslated text, wrong currency or UK spelling on US pages |
| Slow page speed scores | Which slow pages cost you enquiries, and which don't matter |
| Thin content warnings | Missing author, credential and trust signals Google looks for |
| Nothing | Forms, calls to action and layouts that put visitors off |

Questions we get asked
Is the audit really free?
The initial audit is free and yours to keep. For very large sites we may suggest a paid, deeper audit, and we'll tell you before doing any paid work.
How long does it take?
Usually a few working days, depending on the size of the site.
Do I have to sign up for anything afterwards?
No. Use the report however you like: with us, your own team or another agency.
Can you audit sites that target both the UK and the US?
Yes. We check hreflang, regional targeting and localisation (spelling, currency and contact details) so each market sees the right version of your site.
Will you fix the issues for us?
If you want us to. Implementation is separate from the free audit, and we'll agree the scope and cost with you before any work starts. Many clients hand the report to their own developer instead.
What do you need from me?
Just your website address and what you want to achieve. Access to Google Search Console and Analytics helps us go deeper, but isn't required.
